The journey from Jaisalmer to Longewala in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, India, is a historical odyssey intertwined with the valor of the Indian armed forces. Jaisalmer, known as the “Golden City,” serves as the starting point, characterized by its majestic fort and intricately carved havelis.

As you travel towards Longewala, you step into the annals of history, specifically the 1971 Indo-Pak War. Longewala is famed for the Battle of Longewala, where a small contingent of Indian soldiers repelled a much larger Pakistani force. Visit the Longewala War Memorial, which stands as a tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers. The journey offers a blend of desert landscapes, historical significance, and a sense of patriotism, making it a compelling exploration in the arid expanses of Rajasthan.

Tour Plan

Day 1: DEPARTURE TO JAISALMER

Departure in the evening.
The group assembles at the pickup point.
Overnight journey to Jaisalmer in fully sanitized and safe AC (will work in plains only) push back deluxe traveller.
Halt for dinner in between (not on us).

Day 2: JAISALMER ARRIVAL | SAM SAND DUNES

Reach Jaisalmer by noon.
Check-in to Swiss camps at Sam Sand dunes. Freshen up and take some rest.
Enjoy the evening around the beautiful desert. Enjoy sunset Camel safari.
Post this, enjoy the traditional Rajasthani musical program with a dance around the bonfire and light snacks.
Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 3: SAM TO LONGEWALA BATTLEFIELD SIGHTSEEING

Wake up early in the morning, bed tea will be served then proceed for Jeep safari and experience beautifull sunrise at the Thar Desert.
Have your breakfast at the resort.
After that, leave for sightseeing at the Longewala war memorial.
It is famous for the battle between India and Pakistan in 1971. Post this we will visit Tanot Mata Mandir.
In the evening, reach back to the resort.
Post this, enjoy the traditional Rajasthani musical program with a dance around the bonfire and light snacks. Also, enjoy the DJ party at the resort.
Dinner and overnight stay in camps.

Day 4: JAISALMER CITY TOUR TO DEPARTURE

Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast.
After that, leave for the Jaisalmer city tour on the way visit kuldhara the haunted village.
You can visit Gadisar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, and Patwon ki Haveli and enjoy an evening at the Jaisalmer flea market and streets for shopping and local cuisines.
Overnight journey to Gurugram. Halt for dinner (Not on us).

Day 5: End of Trip With a Bag Full of Life Time Memories

Reach Back Gurgram in morning.
Take along some wonderful memories and cherish them for a lifetime.
